STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS:

1: Installing the “Dock Table”

1A. Choose the desired post that the table is to be mounted to. If you have a 2” dock post, you will apply the black plastic spacer on the inside of the mounting bracket. Peel off the double-sided tape and attach to the inside corner of the bracket that is welded to the one side of the table. (If you have a 2 ½” dock post, you will not use the black spacers.)

1B. Take your expandable clamp and use that to clamp the table with the bracket mounted to the post. This will allow the table to be attached to the post and not slide down.

2: Install the brackets for the table.

2A. There are two sets of holes on the table bracket. If you have a 2 ½” square post, you will use the outside holes. If you have a 2” square post, you will use the first set of holes on the inside. The same bracket works with both sets. If you have the 2 ½” size square post, there will be a small gap between the post and the bracket, and that is normal.

2B. Then use the provided brackets and 2” stainless steel bolts, washers, and nylon lock nuts. APPLY THE PROVIDED ANTI SIEZE TO THE BOLT THREADS BEFORE APPLYING THE NYLOCK NUT. Install each bolt through the brackets, make sure they have a stainless steel washer in place, and hand tighten the nylon locking nut on the back.

2C. Ensure the table is tight and flush to the post.

3: Now you can install your second half of the table to the half that is already mounted to the post. You will use (4) of the stainless steel 1” bolts, the washers, and the nylon locking nut provided.

4: Depending on the dock, you may need to shim the bracket to ensure that it is level.

5: Go back and tighten all bolts and nylon locking nuts on the table sides, and the table bracket.

6: Ensure that the table is locked in, and firm to the post. There should be no movement at all with the table brackets.

7: Once you have measured your dock post size, please email us the size (2” or 2 ½” post) at ryan@innovativemarinedesigns.com for your complimentary metal keys. These will be placed flush against the post. See picture below.

8: ENJOY YOUR NEW INNOVATIVE MARINE DOCK TOPPER!
